Dear Marilyn and family,

I was sorry to learn of Owen’s passing. This will be a difficult time for you and my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Bruce reminded me of his visit with Owen many years ago in Moosejaw and their discussions of the coastal weather. He was a remarkable man we did not know well. I hope that you and the family have many, many wonderful memories to reflect on in celebration of Owen’s life. God bless you and keep you,

Love, Jill and Bruce Tate

The Wind Blows Always. Owen knew that and he shared that gift with others. No one knew wind and waves like Owen and whenever the wind blows I will remember him . In our dining room is a photo of Owen and Nancy and I peeking out from behind the ruins at Kingmere. We will remember him in field and forest and garden and sun and rain with tree and flower as a gracious friend who travelled his journey with his loving wife and family and we remember the many and varied times and places when his path crossed ours. They were good times and we have the photos to prove it. I will miss Owen but I will not forget him. We worked in the dark to celebrate the light and I will celebrate his light even as I am in a dark place just now. What a blessing to have known Owen and shared moments in his life. Peace and Love, Forever friend.
