Tribute

Norm passed away peacefully at his home on February 1, 2022. He will be remembered by many for his kindness, generosity and sense of humour. Lovingly remembered by his wife Dorothy, son Ken (Kerry), and grandchildren Brittni (Matt), Kaylee, Wesson and Morgan. Our hearts are broken but we will remember the joy he gave us over our years together.

A Celebration of Life in Norm’s honour will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in his name to BC Cancer.

From: Norm Usher
Relation: Friend for 50 years.

Dear Dorothy and family, deepest condolences in Norm’s passing. Norm was a good friend for nearly 50 years. I always enjoyed our poker and crib games and occasionally meeting up for coffee. We always shared a lot of laughs reminiscing on our Port Hardy days, and all the characters we met along the way. Norm was always a friendly, compassionate guy who genuinely cared about others. I will miss his laughs, sense of humour and all his jokes. Rest in Peace, my friend.

From: Jim Vasey
Relation: Friend

Dorothy and family, I had the pleasure of enjoying Norm’s never ending humour and friendship during our regular poker games over the last few years. He was a man that loved life and seemed to find the positive around him, even when times were challenging. I am going to miss him. My condolences.

From: Miles Stacey
Relation: Neighbors

Dorothy, please accept Susan and my condolences on your loss. It is March 16 today and we just learned of Norm’s passing. We truly loved Norm, who didn’t? Always a warm smile, often a bit of his quick of wit or sometimes a story from his past. Please let us know if we can do anything to help. Just a few doors down. Miles
