Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Myntje (Willy) Wenting (nee Smoorenburg). Born in Holland on June 20, 1918 and passed away April 4, 2015. Willy was predeceased by her grandson Daniel Katzberg, her husband Andy and her eldest son Andre. She is survived by her children; Emmy, Sonja (Enio), Louise (Dennis), Yvonne (John), Shirley (Steve), Rick (Christine) and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She enjoyed a long healthy and wonderful life filled with much love. She will be missed by many.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff who provided exceptional care to her at the Cowichan District Hospital. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation.
