My heartfelt condolences to you at this difficult time. Mike will be missed but never forgotten.

From: Jim & Marlene Quaife
Relation: Friend and Council member

Our sincerest condloences to Ann and family. Mike and I had been friends for over 40 years. Mike first contacted me in the late 1960’s, I was Adult Advisor to Duncan teen Town, Mike was always interested in our young people. In 1971 he approached me about running for City Council, I encouraged him to run, little did I know he would serve for 35 years.
Mike was always a gentleman and conscentious Council member, We had many good discussions, he was pragmatic and enjoyable to work with….I will miss him, very much.

Jim Quaife
Former Mayor, City of Duncan.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. Our love, prayers and deepest sympathy go out to you all during this difficult time. The valley has lost one of it’s best, and Mike will certainly be missed. We loved Mike and it was always a great day when we would run into him, have a chat and chuckle. We won’t be able to make it to Mike’s Celebation of Life on Monday however the entire Caljouw family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Rob and Chrissy
