Father, Grandpa, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend.
Mike Emrick, 64, passed away Friday evening, November 26, 2021 at the Cowichan Hospice House peacefully with his family by his side.
Mike was born in Shelburne, Ontario on April 30, 1957 to Fern and John with 4 siblings. Nancy, Bob (deceased), Gayle and Holly.
In 1974, Mike moved to BC in search of employment, where he worked hard on the highways, in mills and at any construction site as a labourer and running equipment. During his years in construction he worked in many places throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and the Northwest Territories.
He was blessed with 2 sons, Tyler and Jesse, and 2 grandchildren Mackenna and Linden who he loved very much. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, fishing, camping, cooking, gambling and collecting art.
Mike will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, booming voice, fiery spirit and his humour. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear the news of your dad passing ,I just drove by his house recently and was thinking I needed to stop by and tease him about playing some euchre. We had many great times in our younger years. He will be missed. Love you both

He worked with my husband Frank in construction for many years.. Frank passed in 2014, they are all together again planning the next project..
