It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of May Florence Jones, age 90 years, on Aug 28, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, strength and resiliency.
May was born on Aug 3,1934 to Isabella & Ian McEachern in Hinton Trail, AB. She is the third of twelve children. May’s life was defined by her unwavering commitment to her family, her remarkable resilience and her kindness to everyone she encountered.
May Jones is survived by her children Vicki (Bob), Tana (Ken), Bev (Dave), Jock (Susan) & Rick (Tracy), along with many other family members and friends who will carry her memory forward.
A celebration of her life will be held at The Barn, Ladysmith, BC and Jamboree Grounds, Beaverleodge, AB on September 29, 2024.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the lasting legacy she leaves behind and the lessons she passed on to each of us.
