Marion Calvert

Tribute
Calvert, Marion; passed away to her resting place forever with the Lord on March 29, 2011. She was born in Bruce County, Ontario March 07, 1917. In 1937 she married Norman Calvert in Lucknow, Ontario and they resided in Paris, Ontario until Norman’s death in 1976. Marion moved to British Columbia in 1989 and lived at Arbutus Ridge until 2007 when she moved to the Gatehouse Adult Care Centre in Cobble Hill. She is survived by loving daughter Joyce, sister Verna (John) Evans, nephews Bill Johnston, Doug Garniss and Bill Garniss, nieces; Marilyn Craig, Nancy Daer, Mary Edith Parsons and devoted friend Ian Gordon.
Many thanks to Rae-Marie, Theresa, Linda and other staff at the Gatehouse who have given Mom so much love and care for the past four years.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church 531 Herbert St. Duncan, British Columbia on Wednesday April 06, 2011 at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Building Fund 531 Herbert St. Duncan, BC V9L 1T2 would be greatly appreciated.
