Marilyn Miller
Date of Death: July 15, 2021
Tribute
With deep sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn, age 84. Beloved wife of Don Miller for 63 years. Mother of Gary (Vicki), Lynda-lee (Tony) and Bob. Nana to Bobbi, Danton, Ruxton and Madison, and Great Nana to four grandsons.
On July 15th, after a short battle with cancer, Marilyn passed away peacefully at CDH with her family by her side.
Marilyn was a beautiful lady who had fond memories of growing up on Willow’s beach in Victoria. As a young wife and mother she moved to Wilcuma Lodge in Cowichan Bay, then to Cobble Hill, Maple Bay and finally back to Cowichan Bay, where she continued to devote her life to her family and her community.
Creating gourmet meals, verdant gardens, colourful costumes, beautiful music and endless friendships along the way. Growing into a very patient, talented and wise individual. She was an inspiration to everyone she met.
She will also be remembered as a dedicated volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Red Cross, South Cowichan Hospital Auxiliary, Cowichan Musical Society and many more.
Private Family Service.

I had the pleasure of meeting/working with Marilyn 40+ years ago. I will never forget her kindness, understanding and empathy. She was one of the most beautiful people inside and out that I have ever met. A treasure on this earth, we need more like her 🙂
