In loving memory ~
I have lost my beautiful daughter, Mariah, who was taken on Sunday, February 26. She was all those things a mother could wish for. Her children, Emily and Sasha, will miss her terribly but know they had an exceptional mother who loved them with her whole heart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Roger Poblete at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 4 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 790 Kilmalu Road, Mill Bay.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Msgr. Gregory Smith at Christ the Redeemer Church, 599 Keith Road, West Vancouver on Tuesday, March 7.
In lieu of flowers, you may wish to contribute to the Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society.

I’m so sorry to hear that Mariah passed away. It was an honor & privilege to get to know her, Sasha & Emily when they attended SelfDesign’s gatherings at the Westholme School about 14 years ago. We loved her positive, energetic & intelligent way of being with others. I remember that she was traveling to Vancouver to work at the university & lived rurally in Duncan at the time. Her children were blessed to have her in their lives. I’m envisioning that both Sasha & Emily are thriving & growing & have a community of support that they are supported in. <3 Sherri
