Maria Huyg (Hof)
Passed away October 12, 2017 in CDH with her family by her side. She is survived by her children: John and Monica in Montana, Mike and Liz in Colorado, Dave and Shannon in Idaho and Jen and Kris in California; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five siblings: Coby Beddis (John), Gerarda Carlin (late Murray), Gerry Hof (Mary), John Hof (Barb), Kees Hof (Linda), and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Also survived by Tante Corrie and Oom Co Louter and many cousins in The Netherlands.
Also survived by former husband, Conrad in California.
Maria was born in The Netherlands in 1946. Along with her family, she immigrated to Canada in 1952, lived in Honeymoon Bay, Cobble Hill, California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana before returning to live in Duncan three years ago.
The family would like to thank her doctors, Dr.W. Pewarchuk, Dr. R. Pullan, Dr. D. Thomson, and The Cancer Clinic at CDH, Emergency and the Third Floor for her care.
There will be a service at a later date. No flowers please. If you wish, donations can be made to BC Cancer Foundation

Sincere condolences to our past longtime neighbours, the Hof family, from the Philp family. Maria will always be remembered with affection especially by the four Philp children she babysat as a teenager so long ago.
