Tribute

Mandi Mee –Soon Schubert

June 15, 1974 to January 11, 2019

We lost an amazing mother, a caring, loving and devoted wife who loved and will always be loved.
Mandi may be gone in the physical sense, but her spirit will live on in all of us that loved her and cared for her in every way. She lived life, with strength and purpose the disease that took her away from us was never the priority. Her priority was living life, loving her family enjoying time with her friends and doing the work she loved so much. We love you sweetie, rest now you deserve to, this disease can no longer harm you. We celebrate your life this June 15th with family and friends to remember the special you.               “ You Are My Hero Mandi , Love You Forever.

To Doug and Kas and family – Sending you peace and love at this terrible time. Mandi was a joyful person, ever smiling, a bright shining beacon. Her illness never defined her and she never let it get in the way. Our most heartfelt condolences. Heaven gained an angel. Hugs – Anne Marie and Danny

Mandi’s positive energy and generosity left a lasting impression on all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. At our last staff Christmas party, Mandi was honoured with two awards – the Spirit of the Co-op award and the Saint Mandi award (pictured) created especially for her.

Something I will personally always remember about Mandi are the values she demonstrated each and every day I worked with her: Live with purpose. Do your best. Be kind. Appreciate what you have. Smile.

Mandi was a loving wife to Doug Connell and mother to Kas Schubert- Connell, a tirelessly dedicated member of the Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op and a smiling face at the front desk of Cowichan Energy Alternatives Society.

We miss you, Mandi.
