In loving Memory of Lila Jeffries
January 24, 1933 – June 6, 2026
Our beloved mother, Lila Jeffries, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at the age of 93.
Mom lived a full and meaningful life filled with adventure, family, laughter, and love. She enjoyed travelling and creating memories along the way, always embracing life with curiosity and spirit. With five children filling the house over the years, there was never a dull moment, and those memories remain some of our family’s greatest treasures.
Lila was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Aylmer, daughter Lorraine, and her son, Melvin.
She leaves behind her loving children, Bernie, Lynn, and Eldwin, as well as her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry her memory, stories, and love through generations.
For the last four years, Mom made her home at Sunridge in Duncan, where she was welcomed and cared for by so many wonderful staff and caregivers. Our family is deeply grateful for the kindness, compassion, and friendship shown to her during her time there.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she lived a long life and touched many people along the way.
Goodbye for now, Mom.
