Leonard Edwin Clarence Fenner was born to Clarence and Adella Fenner on November 26, 1925 and passed peacefully on December 4, 2024,
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lois Fenner Sahl and brother Clifford.
Survived by his wife Ruth, son David (Joanne) grandsons Dale and Derrick, son Richard; nieces Rhonda and Caroline, nephews Steve and Brent, 7 great nieces and 4 great grandsons.
Leonard met Ruth and they started their new lives together in 1961 in Saskatchewan, a year later David arrived and a year later, Richard.
Leonard was an exemplary farmer, poultry producer and cattleman who was very interested in family history and genealogy. Leonard and Ruth spent their early retirement time researching and writing four lines of Leonard’s family tree.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Sunridge Care facility for their warm and excellent care of Leonard. Special acknowledgement goes to Dennis, the facility’s Entertainment Coordinator who met us with a smile, a joke and brightened difficult days. Thank to the staff of the facility for their participation in his 99th birthday party.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sunridge Care Home or the Diabetes Society
