MALFAIT, Larry born in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba August 12, 1934 passed away peacefully in the early morning of July 19, 2009 at the Cowichan District Hospital after a lengthy roller coaster ride of failing health. Larry leaves behind his wife Margaret; daughter Belinda (Sean) Lee; son Bruce (Cindy & Granddaughter Megan) Malfait; daughter Teresa (Troy & 5 grandchildren) Lonsdale. Larry also leaves behind numerous family and extended family in both Duncan and Kamloops, BC and Manitoba. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Caroline and Mark, and Dr. F. Swann for their continuous support during this time. A private Celebration of Life ahs already taken place, In Lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice in Larry”s name. Larry (dad): you will be greatly missed and remain forever be in our hearts. We love you Papa.
