Kuldip Kaur Manhas

Kuldip Kaur Manhas passed away peacefully around her family on the morning of February 23rd, at Cowichan Hospice House, at the age of 86. She is predeceased by her husband Harbhajan Singh and son Hardev, and survived by her children, Kuljit (Sarabjit), Tek (Kulwinder), Monie (Didar), Narinder (Raj), daughter in-law Manjit, Sohan (Ravinder). She will be dearly missed by her ten grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Kuldip Kaur lived her life with great dignity and was revered in her community around Duncan and Paldi B.C. She also exemplified immense strength and faith, even through her last days fighting cancer.
She was a kind, patient, compassionate and soft soul who will forever be remembered by all who came in contact with her.
Her family would like to extend their gratitude and recognize all the amazing health care workers, staff and doctors at the Cowichan Hospice House and Cowichan District Hospital. The family would also like to especially thank Dr. Macdonald and Dr.Masuda.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Cowichan Hospice House.
The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5th at the New Life Community Baptist Church. Doors will open at 10 am and service will begin at 10:45 am, followed by lunch (langar) and final ardass (prayer) at the Duncan Sikh Temple.
