Tribute
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of John Schwartz on November 15, 2020.
Although John’s family and friends are struggling to come to terms with our loss, we take comfort in knowing that John is watching and guiding those he loved from above. Until we can be together again we know that John will be kept busy attempting to have some input with the weather.
We will forever remember John with each new snow fall, each wave that hits the oceans shore and most of all we will miss his quiet strength.

Relation: I worked with John(and Susan) for many years at Dinters Nursery.
I will always remember John for his quiet strength, his passion for the outdoors, and his knack for weather forecasting although although sometimes he sounded a bit like Eeyore. I can never see a Jalepeno pepper without thinking of John, when he had to prove to us he could eat them raw! He could always be depended upon to get a job done, even though he may have grumbled a bit about doing it. It was lovely to watch the romance between John and Susan blossom at work, even though they thought no one noticed, and to see it grow into the deep, strong relationship that it was.
My prayers are with the family… know that he will be missed by us all💜

The water in my little creek burbles each day into the pond…..birds splash, sing, dance upon ithe gurgling water. Frogs hibernate and tiny fish find safety under the floating plants…… Your beloved John leaves this, his contribution, to our sanctuary. Our gratitude to him and his gifts he gave our garden….and my deep condolences for your loss.

Although I only had a short time with John at Dinters, he never ceased to amaze me with his expansive knowledge of things and how he kept so many people happy with his presence at work. A very quiet , funny and at times elusive individual. Will miss his spirit.
