MacAulay, John Angus
Born January 4, 1963, crossed the final finish line at home surrounded by friends and family on June 13, 2010.
Predeceased by his mother Frances (1985) and his father John (1996)
Survived by his partner Michelle and children Zachary and Trinity and faithful dogs Kodiak and Scruffy. Also survived by lifelong best friends Jim and Fiona Machall and sister Mary (Patrick Dickie) and nieces Cait and Kirsty. John will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many friends in the Cowichan Valley and aunts, uncles and cousins in Vancouver and Scotland.
John’s passion was crash to pass racing in the General and bracket racing in “Red” his Monte Carlo at race tracks up and down Vancouver Island.
John was a non-judgmental, loyal friend, generous to a fault, who lived by his motto “talk is cheap and bullshit walks”
Thank you to Dr. Panet-Raymond, Dr. Dhanoa and Deb and the Home Care Nursing Team in Duncan. In lieu of flowers a donation to the SPCA 7550 Bell-McKinnon Road Duncan V9L 6B1 would be appreciated.

Dear Mary and Family, I am so sorry to hear of this loss. John was such a happy guy when I knew him. Somewhere in my photo collection is me, Mary and John in his Grad Tux; a good looking dude ! Mary, I hope you are well; please take care. It has been many years since we have corresponded; please get in touch when you have time. I have attached a photo of myself and my daughter from this past New Year’s eve.
