Passed away peacefully. Pre deceased by husband Jack. Survived by daughter Isabella (Joe) Farkas son John (Carmen) Allen, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many thanks to the following for their kindness and compassionate care: Dr. J. Fuchs community Home Support, Waldon House, Meals on wheels, Tsitsuwatul’Lelum Assisted Living and Cairnsmore Place.Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at H. W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre 5285 Polkey Road Duncan, B.C. 250-701-0001.

Sad to read about Jean’s passing. My condolences to her family. She loved the Mounties (especially in red serge) and waltzed the dance floor after Remembrance Day services with many of the local “boys” as she called them. Jean always welcomed you with a smile and a hand hold.

Jean and Jack were wonderful neighbours for 25 plus years. Jean was well known as the birthday lady she always rang on my children’s birthdays she never forgot. I will miss her calls. My love to her Family they had a great Mum

MY sincere sympathy to all Jean’s family and friends on her passing away, but with warm, loving and great memories. I’ve recently had a great visit with Jean at Sassy Lions and enjoyed visiting her at her home. I thoroughly like Jean. She was a treasure, at the Legion. Loved to dance and even in the hospital when I was volunteering there, she was so jolly and funny. I’m happy that she is at rest and dancing in heaven
