We pass on our sympathies to you all at this sad time. Your mom, Bella was a wonderful lady who had a history with James’ mom, Irene. The families knew each as they lived in Ocean Falls. I(Liz) met your mom on one of the trips when I would drive Irene over to Abbottsford. I did this a few times but never got a chance to see her once she moved over to Duncan. Irene and Bella were great players of Scrabble. They would play well into the early mornings. They would challenge each other on whether that was a word or not, gossip about whatever, discuss world events and drink enough tea to keep them awake. I would try to stay awake but I would crash. It was funny just watching these two ladies enjoy their company. I kept in touch with Bella at Xmas with photos and cards. I am saddened that she has crossed over but know that her and Irene will be resuming their Scrabble game while Ron(Pappy), Edward(Eddie) and Russell will be watching
