Holly Dianne Cooper (Wilson)
January 12, 1945 - March 18, 2026
Tribute
Holly Cooper, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 81.
Born in Gull Lake, SK on January 12, 1945, to the late Elsie and Gilbert Wilson, Holly left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Holly was a vibrant member of the Moose Lodge and a talented seamstress who poured her heart into creating intricate figure skating outfits for her children, complete with challenging beadwork. Her dedication extended to her meaningful work in hospital administration, where she lent a helping hand with a warm smile at many hospitals.
Though she enjoyed her time at home, Holly also knew how to embark on grand adventures, with a Grand European river cruise being a particular highlight. She was also known far and wide as a true cat lady, with Babe holding a special place in her heart.
As a talented artist, Holly’s creative spirit shone through in her paintings on various mediums, each cherished by her family as a reminder of her talent and spirit.
Holly was blessed with a large and loving clan filled with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is survived by her devoted second husband, Lorne Victor Cooper; her children Michelle (Brent), Chris (Daralyn), and Sandra (Paul); grandchildren Daniel (Michelle), Ashley (Brian), Alysha (Oliver), Madison, Brianna (Mitch), and Kody; great-grandchildren Lily, Kylie, Haisley, and Theodore; her siblings Kalla, Gill (Sandy), Randy (Pam), Tim, and Jill as well as many cherished friends and colleagues.
In every stitch, stroke, and smile, Holly will be fondly remembered for the love, laughter, and creativity she shared with all who were lucky enough to know her. May her memories continue to bring warmth to those whose lives you touched.
