I feel really fortunate that I was able to share the quality times with Henry at CVOLC that I was afforded. He was one of those amazing people that made everyone feel that they were his best friend. I wish I could be there to celebrate my memories of Henry and to hear from others about their memories. I know that I would come away impressed by what I would hear but also saddened that his life was far too short for such a quality person. My best wishes go to all those who grieve.

Greg, Diane and Mark , all your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I feel such deep sadness and love for Haley, because I have one of my family walking that same journey. I don’t understand it, I just love and try to be supportive of them. I am glad to hear there are friends who care. I am open to calls any time. 1-306-692-4603

It was a gift to know Henry/Haley during the time she was a student at CVOLC.. She had the wonderful ability to make others feel cared about, included and respected. Her sense of humour and fearlessness were just two of her admirable traits. I am grateful to have had Known Haley.

I was so lucky to have known Haley, though when she and I were close, I knew her as Taylor. For a time, we shared a home together and loved each other fiercely. She was one of the most beautiful women I had ever met and her fiery spirit meshed and tangled with my own in the most beautiful and turbulent ways. When we would walk in the woods around the valley, she would glide along paths, climb trees, and balance easily on even the most precarious of fallen trees. Watching her fingers dance on a fret board and hearing her voice, soft and strong, made my heart beat fast. I will forever regret not listening more, for not committing her voice to memory. But her pain was so great. The heaviness of her struggle was so easy to overwhelm. And it breaks my heart that it ended before she could experience the joy of finding that strength in herself… The joy of looking in the mirror at a life transformed and a deep love for ones self and the struggles overcome. She deserved to feel that love for herself. She deserved so much better. I will keep the whole family and her dear friends close to my heart. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there with you.
