Tribute
CASTELEIN: Hedzer – passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Cowichan District Hospital on Sunday October 18, 2009. Born in Hantum, Holland on September 12, 1946. Predeceased by his mother Janet; lovingly remembered by his family; wife Sherry; sisters, Antje Veltmen (Jerry), Teresa Kalverda (Tjisse), Alice Nevins (Grant), brother Abel Castelein (Marilyn) and their families, as well as step children; Chris, Laura (Wayne), Marcia (Brian); grandchildren, Dejiana, Kassidy, Devan, Justin, Skyler and Danica. Also survived by 14 brother and sisters in law, best friend Joe Groenendijk, his Kinsmans friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank all the nurses on the second floor at the Cowichan District Hospital for taking such good care of Hedzer while he was there.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at 5990 Indian Road, Duncan BC on Monday October 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be offered at hwwallacecbc.com.
