Grant Andrew Olson

November 25, 1957 – February 20, 2024

Grant Andrew Olson, a cherished partner, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 67 on February 20, 2024. Grant was known for his humour and loyalty to his loved ones, touching the lives of many with his warm and hobbit-like manners.

Born in Duncan, BC, to Andy and Doreen, Grant grew up in the picturesque surroundings of Lake Cowichan. His love of the Lucky Label and Stanfield’s was legendary, showing a deep passion for his community.

Grant’s kindness, humour, and generosity will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his life partner, Rhonda, his sisters, Carol and Joan, and many extended family and friends, all of whom will forever cherish his memory. His final days and passing were surrounded by dignity and love and eased by the support of his dear friends. Rhonda and the family would like to send a thank you to all of you.

Grant will be remembered for his joyful spirit and positive impact he had on those around him. A gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Grant’s life.
