Gian Kaur Parhar

Tribute
Gian Kaur Parhar passed away peacefully on July 25th, 2023 near Victoria, BC at the age of 90 years old. She born and raised in the village of Binjon, District Hoshiarpur Punjab India before immigrating to Duncan, BC, Canada in 1969 with her children and her mother-in-law.
She is survived by her husband Dharam Singh Parhar, aswell her 4 Children Harmesh Kaur, Balbir Singh daughter in-law Manjit Kaur, Rani Kaur and Balbir Kaur.
She was by blessed with her 9 Grandchildren Paramjit, Neelam, Robby, Manjit, Reena, Ravinder, Robin, Jessie & Tejvir and 14 great grandchildren.
Known for her Seva/Service in the Paldi, BC Gurdwara with her specialty being making Jalebi for everyones wedding which took place their. She lived a full and enjoyable life and was always the center of all family functions.
A celebration of life will held on Wednesday August 2 at 11 AM at Newlife Community Baptist Church 1839 Tzouhalem Rd, Duncan B.C. V9L5L6 followed by Antim Ardaas (prayer) at the Paldi Sikh Temple (23 Paldi Road).
