Taylor: George Douglas (Doug)- passed away suddenly on Sunday August 28, 2011. Born in Nanaimo on May 14, 1928. Predeceased by his first wife of 59 years Phyllis (2007). Lovingly remembered by his family; wife Audrey; children: Douglas (Judy), Linda Devlin, Raymond (Bev) Taylor, Kenneth (Barb) Taylor and Patricia (Bill) Williams; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Tom, Barb and Larry.
Doug worked for BCFP for 45 years, retiring in June 1988 as a master mechanic. He loved to camp, fish, prawn and life in general. His love of his family was always first and foremost. Doug always had a lending hand for many of his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 531 Herbert St., Duncan BC on Saturday September 3, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com.
