George Gecseg
July 14, 1937 - June 20, 2016
Tribute
George was born and raised in Polske, Hungary. He leaves behind his beloved family, wife Eleanor; daughter Julie; granddaughters Alli (Allison) and Amy; brother Joe and his family in Alberta/Ontario; sister Elizabeth and family in Hungary; predeceased by a brother, sister and nephew Frank. He also leaves his nephew Derek, brother in law Ed and his family.
At George’s request there will be no service.
“Now that I am gone, don’t come to tell me how much you love me and how much you miss me, those are the words I wanted to hear while I was alive.”
Thank you Tom for allowing George into your life, to love, care and play with his adopted companions, Shylo, Jet, Jettie and Lady Jane, dec’d.
Thank you Dr. Kerswell, Dr. Nielsen and the 3rd floor nurses Michelle, Jennie and Aurora.
We have loved him in life let us not forget him in death.
Time to rest George, you earned it.
