George Stuart Dobbie

Tribute
George passed away peacefully in his home in Chemianus BC on August 5th 2021. He is predeceased by his parents Gertrude and Charles Dobbie, and his sister Delia Budlong. He is survived by his sisters Delores New and Yvonne Power.
George was born October 8th, 1937 in Powell River BC. He grew up and resided in Terrace BC for many years before moving to Vancouver Island in 1995, where he was a long-time resident of Ladysmith and Crofton. He enjoyed going for coffee with friends and spending time with family, who he will be greatly missed by.
George was a member of the Kitsumkalum Tribe in Terrace. In his early years George was a long-time truck driver and member of Teamsters Union.
There will be no service by request.
