Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick William Dunn on February 27, 2013 in Duncan BC. Fred was born on April 7, 1934 in Burnaby, BC. He is survived by his daughter Denise and grandchildren Jana and Justin Weir, brother Bob (Joanne) Dunn, brother in law Chuck Place, sister in laws Gladys Myers and Edna Nilson, many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Predeceased by his wife Lenore (nee Nilson), son in law Cliff Weir, and parents Bill and IIma Dunn.
Fred moved to Prince Rupert in the 1940s. He worked for BC Hydro for 40 plus years as diesel mechanic starting his career in Prince Rupert at the diesel plant. In 1976 Fred moved to Duncan and worked at Bear Point in Chemainus and VIT in Duncan until his retirement.
