Fredrick (Fred) Joseph Bulcock

Tribute
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of my father and grandfather Fred Bulcock. He loved his family, friends and all who know him will deeply miss him. Fred was born in Duncan on June 19, 1928 and lived in Duncan and Port Hardy on the Island with a short stay in England.
Fred was predeceased by his wife Joan, married 57 years, daughters Leah and Shauna. He is survived by his son Chris (Jennifer), brother Jeff (Inge) and five of the greatest grandchildren; Trent, Kaleigh, Shelby, Ethan and Wesley.
Fred spent many years in the forest industry on the Island and retired as the shop Forman for Canadian Pacific Forest Products at Mesachie Lake, BC. Mom and Dad enjoyed spending time at Honeymoon Bay Resort with the grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed his retirement and travelling with Mom. Dad also really enjoyed his time in Nanaimo Seniors Village and made a lot of new friends.
At the request of Dad, their will be no Memorial Service.

Char and I were very saddened to learn of Fred’s passing. He and Joan were friends met again through Honeymoon Bay Resort Association. Fred a character, always, had time to chat and get caught up.
