Frederick (Ted) Court
Tribute
Ted Court was born in Bowsman Manitoba to John (Jack) William Court and Emma Marie Roberge. Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Wendy Ann Court and granddaughter Lyla Court. Ted is survived by sons Mike (Laura) Court and Dean (Jenny) Court, as well as grandchildren: Alex, Nicholas, Lennon, Lara and Lydia.
Ted met the love of his life, Wendy, and started their lives together in Duncan, where they built a family. Ted was passionate about his job as a rigger with the Crofton Mill.
Ted’s favourite role was that as a grandparent, treasuring time with his grandchildren. He was passionate about sharing his love for nature and the outdoors with all the children. He was the head of the family and was always there to create opportunities for us to all gather at his home for shared celebrations, meals, camping, boating, fishing and swimming, just to name a few. He had a soft spot for dogs, and was always equally loved by all the family pets.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and care aids from Sunridge, who cared for Ted over these last few years. Ted’s memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be mate to the SPCA in Ted’s memory.
