COURCHENE: Emile – passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital with his family by his side on Sunday November 15, 2009. Born in Duck Lake, Saskatchewan on January 20, 1929. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years Eileen; children, Therese (Don) Samson, Barb (Ken) Olson, Celine (Garry) Nordhoj, Patti (Garth) Doege; grandchildren, Erin (Chris), Michael, Danielle, Joe, Alicia, Kira, Hannah, Kaylee, Shane and Terra; brothers Ray, Bob and Denis; sisters Diz, Doris and Denise; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sister Alma in 2005.
Emile owned and operated Emile’s Super Cycle for many years. He was loved and respected by everyone who met him. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Edward’s Roman Catholic Church, 2085 Maple Bay Road, Duncan BC on Friday November 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Father Frank Franz Celebrant. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the Cowichan District Hospital. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com
