Tribute
Elizabeth passed away peacefully on January 23rd with family by her side. She has gone on to again be with the love of her Life, Gordon William Govenlock, who predeceased her in 2004. She is survived by her two stepsons, Stuart in Edmonton, and Alden (Kathie) in Duncan, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves her nieces, nephew and their families. She will be greatly missed.
Elizabeth was an active part of all of the communities she lived in throughout her life. She especially loved sharing her music, playing violin with various symphonies as well as the Kemp Lake Five in Sooke.
There will be no funeral by request. The family will celebrate her life at the Moore 100th year reunion celebration in Stanger, Alberta, where she was born, on the long weekend in August.
Many thanks to Dr. Glen Robinson and the staff at Cowichan District Hospital for the excellent care that Elizabeth received over the years and during her last few days.
