Elaine Elizabeth Woodroffe Bliss passed away peacefully on Feb 03, 2018 at Chemainus Health Care Centre at the age of 92. She was born in Wembley Middlesex England on October 06 1925 . Elaine and Her husband Noel moved to Vancouver Canada in 1973 Elaine took an active role as secretary and then president of the West Vancouver Garden club. After moving to Vancouver Island in 1885 she got involved with the Mill Bay Garden club as president and chairman of the Shawnigan lake Flower Show for several years. Pre deceased by her husband Ernest Noel Bliss in 2011 and her son Martin Christopher Bliss in 2013 she is survived by her two children Robert and Caroline (Miller) daughter in law Linda (Roseneck/Bliss)four granddaughters Susan, Karen ,Emily ( Miller)and Tatiana and one great grandson Gavin.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday March 01 at T’s’i’ts’uwatul’Lelum where she resided for the past 5 years from 2 to 4 pm
