We were so sorry to hear of Ed’s illness and passing. The visits of Ed and the family to the Okanagan were always a highlight and those memories still bring us smiles and even chuckles. Although we have not visited for some time, Ed was thought of often and with heartfelt best wishes. Our love and deepest sympathy to all the family.

From: Lois Berg
Relation: My uncle

Such sad news to hear of Uncle Ed’s illness and passing. I’ll always remember getting a great tour of the Crofton pulp mill many years ago thanks to Uncle Ed. It gave me a greater appreciation for the type of work he did. I send my love and prayers to the family.

From: Jim & Sherry Arlt

I remember how happy I was when Ed and family moved from Ontario to Vancouver Island. I will never forget the good times we shared in the years that followed. I wish happy memories will also comfort all of you at this trying time. My deepest sympathy and all my love.

Uncle Ed will always be remembered as the guy who made you laugh. Spending summers while I was younger babysitting Kristin and Colin are fond memories. Rest in peace. Lots of love to your children and Auntie Heather.
