Tribute
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, grandma and sister. She loved her family and friends dearly and all who knew her will miss her. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ronald William Arscott (1989), and leaves behind her children Gail (Rick), David (Charlotte), Carol, Steve (Laurie), Wayne (Sandra), Leighan (Fred) and sister Carrie. Also many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Mt. View Cemetery at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers a memorial remembrance may be made in the form of a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ca

So sorry to hear of Dorothy’s death. She was a delightful woman. She was always very independent and incredibly organized. It was horrible to watch her health decline over the last year. My condolences to all of her loving family.

Mom…You were an amazing woman. You were always there for all of us, through the good times and the bad. You laughed with us and you wiped our tears. There will never be a day that goes by that I don’t think of you. I love you always….Until we meet again..

We will miss Dorothy greatly. She had a wonderful laugh and always full of wonderful stories. I last visited her in 2012 and she was full of good spirit. Our family the Northey’s first met her in 1975. She also made wonderful salmom cakes from fish caught by her incredible husband. May she be with him now in peace. God Bless.
