Tribute
Doreen passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Anyhow who knew Doreen knew her love for loud music and would always know when she was coming for a visit as you would hear her music before seeing her arrive. This was great for us kids when we were misbehaving. Doreen is survived by her children Janine (Jarad), Teri (John), Brad (Nina), Sharon (Jamie), Mike (Joselen) and Joey (Rick); grandchildren Laurie, Peter, Krista, Shayne, Darell, Denis, Jordan, Kilian, Brad and especially the apple of her eye, Michelle. Doreen is also survived by her many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say thank you to the doctors and nurses at Cowichan District Hospital especially Dr. Kerswell. As per Doreen’s request a Celebration of Life will be held on November 14, 2014 on her 80th birthday. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Relation: Relationship - How did you know the deceased?
Dear Jan, Teri, Brad, Sharon and family. I was sad to hear of Auntie Doreen’s passing. I will always remember her laugh and smile from when we were kids. Unfortunately I will be away for her Celebration of Life but will be thinking of all of you and her on that day.
