Tribute
Born in Trout Creek, Ontario, Denise Caskenette (Osborne) passed peacefully at home on February 26th surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband Allan, daughter Candice (Scott) and son Christopher (Nicole) as well as grandchildren Tianna, Connor, Cole, Aiden, Davin and Danica and her beloved puppy Tippy. Denise grew up in Trout Creek, with her parents Albert & Gwendolyn Osborne and her siblings Johnny, Jarvis, Jennie-Mae, Ian and AJ along with a large extended family.
After moving to BC in 1993, Denise soon started working at Walmart where she continued in various roles for the next 25 years and retired in 2018. She thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors which included hiking and camping with her family. Denise was an avid gardener with a love of animals and birds especially hummingbirds.
A huge thank you to Dr. Szabo, Dr. Masuda and all of the Home Support Nurses who helped make her last days at home comfortable.
As per Denise’s request there will be no service. In lieu of any flowers, please feel free to donate to the charity of your choice such as the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or your local SPCA.
