Denis was born in Sidney, BC to Melville and Elizabeth
Denis was preceded by his parents Melville & Elizabeth.
Denis was survived by his wife Susan; daughters, Miranda (Erik), Teresa (Justin); his grandkids, Katrina (Zain), Cody (Kim), Nathan (Kyrstyn), Heather (Mark), Elizabeth (Lewis), Matthew, Kylan and Paige; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Maverick, Vincent, Bridget, Alexander, Hailie and Declan; his brothers Alphonse (Linda), Les (Nedra), Neil (Judy), Clifford (Joanne), David (Anne), and Greg.
Denis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to all who met him.
Denis loved joking and laughing, always making people smile. This included short sheeting his brothers beds every chance he got!
Denis loved hunting, fishing, and gold panning, sharing this time with many friends and family members whenever he got the chance. Denis no longer had to look for gold, he is now walking and dancing on streets of gold in Heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held on November 15th, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Duncan Pentecostal Church, 931 Trunk Road, Duncan

Susan my heart goes out to you, a long and happy marriage producing 2 lovely girls. Both adults and parents in their own right. I will pray for Denis smooth transition to the world of the spirit and send prayers also to Susan and her family.

Relation: We met Denis about 48 years ago when he advertised something for sale that we were interested in. Can't remember what it was but when we went to look at the item we wound up visiting for a couple hours< Denis was very easy to talk to.
Goodbye Denis, you were a pleasure to know and be considered a friend. always good for a joke, laugh, or a corny story. Looking back it was a long time ago when we met, about 48 years. Especially enjoyed the years we spent with the 4H family. We will miss you: Gordie and Sandy
