Darlene Marjory Harris

Tribute
With broken hearts we regret to share the passing of our Mom, Darlene Harris on February 23rd, 2025. Mom said her good byes and left this world, with her children by her side, one day after her 82nd birthday. We thought we’d have her for so much longer. Mom had big feelings and cared very deeply.
Often we had teens in need that came to live with us in our already large family. She loved family get togethers and hosted many dinners for many people. Even while wintering in Yuma, she would regularly take a plate of dinner to a homeless gentleman she knew was hungry. She also loved camping, fishing, visits from her kids, travelling and wintering in Yuma.
Predeceased by her husband William, father Virgil, mother Dorothy, sister Gloria, brother Donald, grandson Calvin, and others. Left to mourn, her children Evelyn, Marilyn (Daryl), Dreh (Valerie), Randy, Teresa (Robert), Anita (Kelly), and Kelly (Bob), 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn, her best friend of 70 years, Jean Scrimbit.
We miss her terribly.
