It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of James “Dale” Eadie on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at his home in Honeymoon Bay, BC at the age of 69. He was born on August 16, 1952, in Huntsville, ON.
Dale leaves behind his four children, daughter Elisa Gray, and sons Michael Jones, Edward Smith, and Darryl Eadie.
Dale served in multiple tours of duty and also served in the UN as a Peacekeeper. He retired from the Armed Forces as a Warrant Officer after 28 years of service. After retiring, he continued to support the United Nations by donating to their foundation every year. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and playing golf. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service for his family and friends will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM. For more information, contact Darryl Eadie at 250-710-9678
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale’s memory to the United Nations Foundation.
