Dale David Carnochan

February 26, 1964 - September 3, 2018

It is with the heaviest and saddest of hearts to announce the sudden passing of Dale on Sept 3 2018.  A day that changed our lives forever. A day our hearts were split in two.

Our beloved Dale was predeceased by his father Keith.  He leaves behind a brother Rod (wife Lina and daughter Chinta) step mom Deborah (stepbrothers Brian and Jason). Many expressions of love, concern and kindness have been shown to us in this very difficult time from other loving family members and dear friends. Dale touched many people in his life with his kindness, compassion and giving all the love he had. He didn’t go alone that day, as part of us went with him. The family wishes to acknowledge deep appreciation at this time. Sometimes we are not meant to ‘get over’ special souls like Dale and we just go on living life a little emptier. Dale will be deeply and profoundly missed !

Saddened to hear this news. Dale was a dedicated guy, a honest guy, a tenacious guy, a steady guy. The team is lighter now.

From: Denny Wagg
Relation: I taught Dale at Cowichan High school

I had the pleasure of teaching Dale at Cowichan High school. He was in my History 12 class. He was a great guy, a really nice person to teach.

I remember playing noon hour intramural touch football against him at Cow High . We, the teachers, had our flag football team and Dale was on one of the many student teams. I remember Dale being so fast and elusive. It came down almost to the fact that if you could stop or slow down Dale from doing his magic on the field, you might have a chance of winning the game!

A very fine person is no longer with us but, like others, I have fond memories of Dale from his high school days. My deep condolences to you at this sad time.
