Connor Norman Hodgins, 69, passed away suddenly March 19th, 2021, at his home in Duncan, British Colombia. Connor was the proud father of his 2 daughters Jennifer Blunt (Paul) and Jill Gillam (Monty). Grandfather to Justin, Taylor, Jacob, Kaylin, Emma, Olivia and Spencer. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters Patricia, Greg, Terry, Donna, Cindy, John and Mary Jo. He joins in heaven his beloved mother Josephine (1991) and sister Carol (2012) and his wife Joan (2015).
Connor was born in Toronto, Ontario May 4th, 1951 to Josephine and Norman Hodgins. In his youth, Connor loved playing hockey and was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He also loved to spend his time gardening, golfing, fishing and just being outdoors.
In 1994, he moved to Duncan, British Colombia and spent his last 26 years there. He loved spending time at the Duncan Eagles Aerie Lounge with his friends, having a beer and was known to never miss a Leaf game, Blue Jays game or a Nascar race. He was also known to sing a song or two during karaoke nights.
Cremation has taken place and Connor has returned home to Toronto with his family. At his request, he will be buried with his mother. A memorial will be held on May 4th 2021 at 1:00 pm at Glen Oaks Cemetery, Oakville, Ontario with burial to follow.
