Tribute
On the 25th of November, we lost a lifelong citizen of the Cowichan Valley, Clifford Franklin Sellars, just 8 days past his 93rd Birthday, Cliff was predeceased by his wife Mary, son Trevor, and daughter Barbara. Dad, Grandpa, Papa, and Pops will be greatly missed by his daughter Elizabeth, daughter-in-law Sheila, sons Jim (Karen), David (Wendy), and Cliff (Jr.), as well as 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Dad loved making both blackberry wine and his hand made ice cream, his camping adventures with Mary, family and many friends. Dad also loved telling his corny jokes as well as his many memories of growing up in the Valley from the early 1930’s through to his last days at Sherwood House with his friends and caring staff.
Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at the 2nd floor of Cowichan District Hospital for their kindness and excellent care provided during Dads final days and weeks.
