Clara Ann Killick (Claire)

August 11, 1944 - April 29, 2026

Tribute

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Clara Ann Killick (Claire). Claire was born on August 11, 1944 and passed peacefully on April 29, 2026.

Claire was preceded in death by her husband Al Killick and is survived by her children Byron, Tyler and Lane along with their wives, eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Claire or (Nana) treasured her time with her sons, daughters-in-law and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, always making her home a favorite to visit.

Claire was blessed with and cherished the lifelong friendships she made with neighbours, co-workers and working associates, relationships that she maintained until her passing.

Claire held strongly to her faith in her Lord Jesus, knowing she was going to be reunited with her friends and family that preceded her death and is today with them in Paradise!

The family wishes to thank all the staff that cared for Claire at Ts -i-ts-uwatal Lelum Assisted Living. She mentioned often how she appreciated everyone. We would also like to thank the staff at the Cowichan District Hospital for being so caring and compassionate. You do amazing work!

Claire was a generous person and among supporting many charities always had a foster child through World Vision. If you wish to do something in memory of Claire or in lieu of flowers,

please consider, if you haven’t already, sponsoring a child in need.

There will be a Celebration of Life at New Life Community Baptist Church on May 30th at 1:00 p.m., 1839 Tzouhalem Road, Duncan, BC

I’m sorry to read of Claire’s passing.
She was a force to be reckoned with! We had the great honor of having Claire return to the Quamichan Inn when we purchased it, and boy were we blessed.
Clair was loyal, smart, witty, quick with her tongue and oh so funny. So many Claire stories! I feel privileged to to have known her and call her a friend.
She will be much missed. Xx
