Tribute
JOHNSON: Catherine Mary (nee Watson) born May 2, 1947 in Essex, England; died January 20, 2010 at the Cowichan District Hospital following a brief acute bout of flu and pneumonia. Our thanks to all the Doctors and nurses who cared for her at the Cowichan District Hospital and Sunridge Place, particularly Dr. Glen Robinson.
Catherine was predeceased by her parents George and Mary Watson.
She is survived by her loving husband Kristjan; her brother Alan Watson, nephews Craig (Joanne), Kevin (Melanie) and Robbie; Alan’s ex wife Melody (Robbie’s mom); great nieces and nephews, George, Olivia, Tryson and Kealey; stepmother Gay Watson; Kristjan’s brothers and sisters and their families as well as many relatives in England.
Catherine had a long struggle with many health issues but she lived through it all with grace, fortitude enjoying life to the end. No service by request. Cremation entrusted to H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre. Online condolences may be offered at www.hwwallacecbc.com
