Burns Alton Crowder
April 23, 1927 - February 22, 2015
Tribute
Born in Roblyn, MB. The only child of Frank and Annie Crowder. He leaves behind his loving wife and partner Carol of 33 years, his son Bruce and grandsons Kurtis and Dustin, his daughter Judy (Bob), granddaughter Erin (Daniel) and great grandson Callan.
He was predeceased by a grandson Matthew.
Burns retired from the military in the late 70’s as a Master Warrant Officer after 25 years of service. As a topographical Survey Engineer he traveled to remote parts of the Arctic doing cutting edge mapping. He also worked in that capacity with many foreign governments around the world. He was a 46 year Legion member, a Mason plus a number of years as a Rotarian. Burns and Carol were able to travel a great deal. First years to their retirement home in Arizona and then discovered the cruising lifestyle. He will be greatly missed by his family, his engaging Westie Ceilidh and many friends. Thanks to the hospital staff and doctors who took such great care of him-all caring and compassionate people..

we were truly sad about the passing of Burns. He was such a good friend, and although we only knew him for a very short time, we felt in our hearts that we had known him for a lifetime.
Will miss his hi signs and “good morning”.
Thank you for sharing this man with us Carol. We really loved him.
