Burns Alton Crowder

April 23, 1927 - February 22, 2015

Born in Roblyn, MB. The only child of Frank and Annie Crowder.  He leaves behind his loving wife and partner Carol of 33 years, his son Bruce and grandsons Kurtis and Dustin, his daughter Judy (Bob), granddaughter  Erin (Daniel) and great grandson Callan.

He was predeceased by a grandson Matthew.

Burns retired from the military in the late 70’s as a Master Warrant Officer after 25 years of service.  As a topographical Survey Engineer he traveled to remote parts of the Arctic doing cutting edge mapping.  He also worked in that capacity with many foreign governments around the world.  He was a 46 year Legion member, a Mason plus a number of years as a Rotarian.  Burns and Carol were able to travel a great deal.  First years to their retirement home in Arizona and then discovered the cruising lifestyle.  He will be greatly missed by his family, his engaging Westie Ceilidh and many friends.  Thanks to the hospital staff and doctors who took such great care of him-all caring and compassionate people..
