Brenda Elaine Reid

Tribute
A reoccurring theme from those who were close to her was that she really saw them for who they were, she made them feel seen. What a rare and beautiful gift that is for those around her to have felt.
She also had an extraordinary love for animals, She adored them all and was always willing to take in any stray that needed a home.
She had an immensely creative spirit and a passion for making so many wonderful crafts. Her hand drawn, painted and beaded items were just a few of the creations that were so treasured by those close to her as well as many others in the community. She had such a knack for creativity, but the greatest thing that she created was her loving family. She had a storybook love with her husband of 41 years, Larry, who she was lucky enough to have a chance meeting at 15 years old and the rest was history. She had a fierce love for her two boys, Matthew and Brandon and her grandchildren, Sutton, Everett and Waylon. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Beverly.
She is predeceased by her loving parents, Elise and Everett , whom she missed dearly.
There will be a tea in Brenda’s honour at:

I was so lucky to be Brenda’s hairdresser for several years. She shared so much joy and laughter with me. I thought of her often after not seeing her and wondered how she was doing. My condolences to Larry and the boys. She touched a lot of hearts.
