Tribute
Passed away at home in Chemainus, BC on June 9, 2015. Blaise was born in Tilbury, Ontario on August 26, 1934. Beloved husband of Carol and loving father to his children Brian, Bonnie, Brenda, Brad and Todd. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and family in Ontario. Blaise was predeceased by his daughter Becky.
He retired as a production manager with the NewsLeader and then began Freelance Strata Management Services.
There will be no service by his request.

My condolences to the whole family. In my years working with Blaise I got to know him as larger than life. Quite a character! Sometimes we would run into him on the Clipper on our way to watch the Blue Jays! We will be taking that trip again this year, and I will remember Blaise as we are enjoying the games he loved.

My thoughts go out to Carol and all family members. I knew Blaise through work and we often golfed together. A great man who ‘called a spade a spade’! Sometimes had a gruff demeanor but was a a kind and fun person once you had the privilege to get to know him.
