Tribute
We said goodbye to Beverly McKinlay on August 17, 2026. She was born in Duncan, BC at King’s Daughter Hospital.
Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Annie Evans, husband Robert (Bob) McKinlay,siblings, Owen Evans, Adele Jutrus, and Bob Evans and Son-in-law Wayne Peet, Daughter-in-law Irene McKinlay and Granddaughter Stacey McKinlay.
Survived by, brother James (Jimmy) Evans, sisters, (twin sister) Bonnie Klovance, and Patsy McDonald and Sister-in-law Denise McKinlay, brother-in-law Doug (Janice) McKinlay.
Left behind are her children: Stan (Karen) McKinlay, Tub McKinlay (Arlene), Ron (Debbie) McKinlay, Ellen Peet, Mike (Tina) McKinlay, and Wayne McKinlay.
Her Grandchildren: Kirsten (Rob), Adam (Whitney), Justin (Megan), Dale (Jess), Arthur (Karleigh), Natalie (Tosh), Kirsten (Andy), Stephen , Ryan (Libby), Matthew (Michaela), Michelle (Mike), Dylan (Megan), Paige (Simon), and Nathan (Maddy).
And many Great-grandchildren: there are enough great-grandchildren to field 2 teams to play a game of baseball; with spares on the bench. There are also many nieces and nephews.
Beverly spent many years curling at bonspiels as a member of the Duncan Curling Club. Beverly also spent many years as a spectator at Pioneer park enjoying ball games, watching Bob, kids and the grand-kids.
Private family service.
In lieu of flowers-donations to Duncan Junior Baseball Association or Cowichan Chaos Fastpitch.
