Tribute

Beverly Campbell (Nee Kane) was born in Wilcox, SK. Her family moved to Gibsons Landing when she was three years old. She married Lorne in 1956 and lived in Fairbridge until moving to Cowichan Bay in 1964. She is survived by her three children Grant (Terri), Susan (Tim) and Ian (Brenda), Grandchildren Stephen (Gillian), Sam (Julie), Emma, Great-Grandchildren, Jack, Luke, Riley and Maddie.

Mom taught at Bench School for approximately 20 years and was always happy to run into any of her old students just to find out what they were doing now.

Mom was a great traveler. Enjoying trips to Disneyland, Hawaii, Europe, England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Africa and Asia. She also travelled all over North America, including a trip in their trailer across Canada and back through the US.

She was also very involved in a variety of community groups including:  Mother’s Morning Out, Walking Group, The United Church, The Cowichan Bay Fire Department Auxiliary and Dragon Boat Paddling Group.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Dover House for all they have done for Mom.

There will be a Service at the Duncan United Church, 246 Ingram Street, on May 24^th at 1:30 PM refreshments will be served after the service in the Church Hall.

In lieu of Flowers, donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
